Wow I haven't updated for a year. Yikes . .

Okay so I was thinking it had been a while since I last updated the blog, come to find out it was a year ago yesterday that I last blogged. My apologies. I will try harder to keep up. Kip bought me a new computer and it uploads pictures MUCH fast so it should be easier to update you all now.

Anyways, A lot has happened in the last year. Most importantly we have a new home in Huntington Beach, and we just LOVE it here. The girls have adjusted well to their new schools, Kip will be able to ride his bike to work (as of 4-1, when they relocate the office,) and I am soooo much closer to all of my friends.

Maddy just turned 5 on March 8th. She had a small princess party with her friends, and then we had a family BBQ at the house to celebrate on the actual day. It was a fun filled week for her. :-)

I'll be back soon. Hopefully with some house pictures too.

So it has been a long time since I have posted on here, and I am sorry. Life has been even crazier than usual. Kip works non-stop, Maddy now goes to school 5 days a week, and Katelyn has hit the terrible twos already!! Here are just a few pictures to get us up to date . .

Maddy finally started the public school speech program and goes 5 days a week. The bus picks her up bright and early and off she goes. She loves her bus and new school!! Luckily my baby will only be riding the short bus until kindergarten. :-) And since her little friends don't understand, all they know is "Maddy is soooo lucky!" Kids are so cute!

New Years 2007

For New Years we flew to Utah to ring in the new year with Grandma Barb, Auntie Denise, and of course the Tallericos. It was Katelyn's first flight, and Maddy's second. Since Maddy doesn't remember her first flight she was super excited to ride on the plane. Although flying with toddlers isn't fun, it still beats the 12 hour car drive.

Maddy tried snowboarding for the first time. So far she isn't a fan of the sport. She told daddy she wanted to ski. I think Daddy had a heart attack -- Thanks Dora!!

Big Bear -- We took a quick trip up to Big Bear to do some sledding and snow play. Maddy loved every minute of it, Katelyn hates the snow.

Another year at Bass Lake has come and gone!! A week goes so fast doesn't it??? Well this year was Ms. Katelyn's first time, and she loved it!! It was a little hard for mommy since daddy didn't come since his foot was still in a cast and he couldn't swim, or ride his bike. Next year daddy better come!!! We made it to Yosemite on the one day they had controlled burns in the valley so our pictures didn't come out that great, but we still had a nice time.

On Saturday June 30th, my cousin Alysa got married and asked Maddy to be the flower girl. Of course I said yes, and asked if I could dress up Katelyn too. Maddy did great. She did not distribute the flowers like she was suppose to, but I am just glad she made it down the aisle. About half way thru the ceremony she got bored and wandered off, so she didn't make it back down the aisle.

We spent Easter in Mesquite meeting up with the Tallericos. We spent the weekend at the pool, piggy out at the buffett, and just having fun!! Sunday morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny found the girls. He even left a egg hunt out in grassy area behind our suite!!

Can you believe it?? Maddy is already 3 years old! Wow time really flies. Well here are the pics of her birthday party. We had a great turnout -- lots of friends, family, and of course fun!!

Yesterday as I was feeding Katelyn her afternoon bottle Maddy disappeared. No biggie, she plays in her room or our room all the time. Well she was gone for a while, and she was toooooo quiet. So, off I went to find her. Found her in my bathroom with all my makeup out.

Not too bad with the mascara right?!?! At least she got it close to her eyelashes. haha

Valentines was so much fun for us. During the day I took the girls to Chuck E. Cheese's for a Valentine's party with all their little friends.

Wow is it February already????

Well here it is February and I had every intention of sending out the link to this site weeks ago. Life happened - and our entire family has been down and out with horrible colds and flus. We have been to the doctor way too many times already and are hoping to be healthy soon. So far 2007 hasn't treated us that well.
Updates: Maddy is doing well in preschool, she loves her class and her teachers. She finally had her speech evaluation and we are hoping she will be starting her speech therapy soon. She tested just fine for everything, but her talking.
Katelyn is now 6 months old, and still a teeny tiny girl. She is only 13.5 pounds and just barely 25 inches. She is now enjoying fruit with her rice cereal, and starting to sit up for lenghty periods before toppling over.
Kip is working hard as usual, and pestering me about taking a long -overdue trip somewhere/anywhere.
Besides being sick, I have finally started taking cake decorating classes like I have always wanted to do. They are looking pretty good, and I am excited to do Maddy's birthday cake soon.

On January 11th, just 2 weeks shy of 6 months I finally broke down and fed Katelyn some rice cereal. She wasn't quite sure she liked it. Now she loves it!!

Well I have been meaning to do this for quite some time, so here goes. Bare with me, and I will try and keep this as up to date as possible. :-)

I am going to start with Christmas 2006

Christmas was a whirlwind here with lots of relatives, presents, and fun!! Grandma Barb, and Aunt Denise flew in from Utah on Saturday and Aunt Debbie, Uncle Garren, and Hannah drove up from San Diego. On Christmas Eve the girls and I went with my parents to my Great Aunt Phyllis's house for our annual holiday get-together. Maddy was the life of the party, and even played Santa distributing all the gifts.

As you can see Santa treated our girls well, and our Christmas was a blast. Mommy is already looking forward to next year hoping Maddy will fully grasp the Santa concept, and miss KK will be excited about gifts and goodies!! Hope the holidays treated you all as well as they treated us!!
